National Command & Operation Centre
National Command & Operations Center (NCOC) was established in April 2022. It was developed to manage the core pandemic, gathering data from the hospitals, disease surveillance, and monitoring all the aspects of COVID-19, vaccination, and immunization targets. NCOC is currently present in the National Institutes of Health and is responsible for the monitoring of the hospital ICUs, ventilation systems, and oxygen availability across different facilities nationwide.
National Immunization Management System (NIMS) is also functional under NCOC, which is mainly responsible for vaccination and immunization records and data storage.
NCOC is involved in analytical decision-making regarding COVID-19 which also includes the implementation of smart lockdown during the pandemic. Pakistan stands as the 3rd best country in effectively handling and managing the COVID-19 pandemic.
